World of Warcraft: Legion Testing Will Return Soon with New Content

Late last year the World of Warcraft: Legion expansion alpha took place allowing people to get a taste of what is to come. Not fully representative of the full release, it was used to gain data on how the alpha version of the game will hold up.

While the alpha test is no longer running, fans are obviously excited to see when it will be re-opened for users, and maybe even opened up more for people who didn't get access in the last patch of testing.

While offering "No ETA" for when the next phase of testing will begin, what will interest fans is the fact that they will be getting a new build with new content. Stating that the previous build is now outdated is a nice way to tease that there will be many updates when testing is finally open.

What will be interesting to see is what testing the next phase will actually be. If this is stated to be another Alpha test, then when will the Beta test take place? As people will know, Alpha testing is used on early version of code that is generally more buggy. Beta testing comes at a later stage of development when things should be more stable and leading to the full release build. With the launch aimed at September 2016 there is plenty of time for testing to take place.

FIFA 16 was the best-selling game on Amazon last year, and the 10th best-selling item across its entire product line-up, the retailer has revealed.

While sales figures for the game have not been revealed, EA's latest football game managed to outsell Call of Duty: Black Ops 3, which landed at No.2 in Amazon's best-selling video games of 2015, and Fallout 4 at No.3.

The retailer's report also suggests that Grand Theft Auto V was the fourth best-selling game of the year, with FIFA 15 in at No.5. Sales data is said to have been recorded between January 1, 2015-December 13, 2015.

The best-selling game in the run-up to Christmas, however, (which Amazon says is based on unit sales between November 1-December 13) was Fallout 4, ahead of Black Ops 3 at No.2 and Star Wars Battlefront at No.3.

It isn't yet known which game came out on top in the UK across all retailers.

Black Ops 3, meanwhile, continues to dominate the top of the weekly UK charts, holding on to the top spot for four weeks in a row to become the first No.1 of 2016.

Elder Scrolls Online PS4, Xbox One, PC: Tamriel Unlimited changes revealed

The new pack from ZeniMax Online Studios will launch first on PC on August 31, then Xbox One on September 15, followed finally by PlayStation 4 on September 16. The heart of the Cyrodiilic Empire has fallen to Daedric Prince Molag Bal and it is up to the three alliances to retake the Imperial City while still fighting amongst themselves. The Imperial City is the first DLC game pack for Elder Scrolls Online and has been promised to add hours of additional gameplay. New areas, quests, enemies, and exclusive items are set to be added, while pricing depends on the status of a players ESO Plus membership. The full Imperial City DLC game pack is included with an active ESO Plus membership, although if you are not an ESO Plus member, or your membership lapses, the Imperial City DLC game pack will cost 2,500 crowns in the ESOTU Store. The Imperial City will come in two parts-the DLC game pack, and the base-game patch, while everyone who owns The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited will receive the base-game patch at no cost.
